Does controlled memory mean the file is safer in every canal?
No. It can improve flexibility and canal following, but safety still depends on glide path, irrigation, torque control, canal anatomy, and following the DFU.
Controlled-memory, C.Wire, and EDM NiTi file systems grouped for pre-bendable handling, conservative shaping, and curved canal navigation.
Controlled-memory families reduce the tendency of a file to spring back toward a straight shape. In clinical decision-making, that behavior is useful when negotiating curved, narrow, or conservative-access cases where passive canal following is more important than stiffness.
This collection intentionally groups related flexible alloy categories rather than a single brand term. Review each system page for whether the file is truly pre-bendable, regenerative after autoclave, single-use, or reusable-limited.

No. It can improve flexibility and canal following, but safety still depends on glide path, irrigation, torque control, canal anatomy, and following the DFU.
Curved canals, calcified canal entries, conservative access cavities, and cases where straight-line access is intentionally limited may benefit from pre-bendable handling.
